Gently dividing space

These free-sanding art panels were initially inspired by shoji screens and doors that I experienced while living in Korea. The form, technique, and content have evolved to be personally mine, but the elements of translucent paper and a sense of understated balance carry through from their Asian origin.

The panels have a different art "statement" on each side.

The paper on all art panels is sealed with multiple coats and will not ever stain. They pass our own rigorous splash of red wine test. The substrate of polycarbonate has been chosen for its translucent nature and unbreakable durability.

(more about Chuck) He is constantly on the lookout for interesting woods that have high "figure" and color, and then he combines and juxtaposes them to present the intrinsic beauty of nature in an understated form.

He has sold thousands of his items over the past years at art shows and galleries throughout the NorthWest, and now, they are available worldwide.

Since each item is hand crafted by Terrene Creations, and the materials are all natural, there are slight variations in grain pattern and color.
