(more about Chuck) He is constantly on the lookout for interesting woods that have high "figure" and color, and then he combines and juxtaposes them to present the intrinsic beauty of nature in an understated form.

He has sold thousands of his items over the past 12 years at art shows and galleries throughout the NorthWest, and now, they are available worldwide.

This hanging planter is an original design -- a gentle blend of grace and functional elegance.

• Chuck starts with the finest hand-selected woods he can find - taking the greatest care to create functional art.
  • The bows are formed from steamed oak.
  • The darker wood is Eastern black walnut.
  • The bowl is fashoned from a single disc of wood, cut in a spiral and lifted.
  • These are all natural colors. Chuck uses no stains or dyes!
• The overall size is 14" x 16".
• The planter swivels at the upper eye, allowing alternate exposure to the sun and ensuring your plant's symmetry and happiness.
• Overall the entire piece is assembled with water-proof glue, and finished with hand-rubbed danish oil, effectively countering the hazards of over-watering by human or nature.
• Transportation is eased by unscrewing the bowl and collapsing the bows into a single tear-drop shap. In this form it fits easily into a suitcase or may be boxed for shipment.
